Climify Assignments
At the end of each Climify episode, we ask our guests what their ideal climate design project would be. They have four weeks with a class full of design students. We translated their response into a project brief that you can use for your class.
FAQ
Do I still own my project submission?
The CD EDU Projects are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License. In other words, you can use it in any way you wish, if you attribute it to the instructor listed on the project and share any alterations or use of these projects to hello@climatedesigners.org.
Can I include a submission on my CV/Dossier?
Yes, you can. We double-blind peer-review the submissions, so a faculty member can list an accepted project here on your dossier. Every college and university have different formats and language for their promotion and tenure documents, so please check with your university for guidance on where on your CV/dossier you can put this. (If you volunteer as a reviewer, you can also include that function on your CV/dossier under a category like "Service to the Profession."
What is our peer-review process?
We use a double-blind peer-review process which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. After you submit your project on your Google Doc, we will identify a minimum of two reviewers, and give them your proposal without your name and affiliation attached. The reviewers will either accept, accept with changes, or deny a project.
