Field Guide to Climate Design

Observations from the intersection of design and the climate crisis

This is a place for the curious to come and find information on a range of subjects that affect designers and our practices.

We’ll talk about sustainability, education, project ideas, and more. In time, we hope that it will become a robust and diverse reference guide to all kinds of topics that Climate Designers can look to as they navigate their careers.

Editor’s Call to Action:

Be a part of the Field Guide team

Hi! I’m Matt. I’m a graphic designer working with Climate Designers to launch this project as its first Writer & Lead Editor. I like to write and read, but I can’t do this alone. We’re looking for designers/writers/thinkers who want to be a part of the Field Guide team.

We’re looking to build a diverse team that will expose readers to new perspectives outside of their own. The climate crisis is global and that means that what my biggest problems are may not be what yours are; that’s why we need your perspective and experience. We want the guides to be as relevant for the global design community as possible.

If you are interested in learning more or being a part of the Field Guide team, please reach out to me at graphicdesign (at) outlook (dot) com, or through my profile right here on the Mighty Networks site.
