Homework

- Bring one piece of news that resonates with you into class 👉

- Start engaging on Slack (share, comment: 3x/week)

- Send your Group Charter before next class (PDF or Google doc)

- 10x10x10

The 10x10x10 exercise is a great first step to get you out of your bubble to start building community understanding while at the same time allowing serendipity to inspire ideas by visiting new places and seeing new things.

Your task: visit 10 locations, talk to 10 different people and come back with 10 interesting stories.

These locations are directly or indirectly associated with your solution space.

These stories can be centered around an idea already discussed in class, a particular challenge you are trying to address, an issue affecting people in that solution space, or they can simply be more free flowing, letting the people you meet guide the conversation. Think about what was discussed during the Moonshot exercise.

Document this exercise with photos or videos.

On top of this, each person needs to take five photos of something strange or weird that they saw during the 10x10x10 exercise.

Go as a whole team or split up into smaller groups to do this. It works best with at least two people.

Be ready to share your stories with your team next class.

SN: Upload each of your five weird/strange photos. One photo per slide.

SKETCH NOTES

Sketch notes should be less dictating and more interpreting of content.

Really think about what you are absorbing and how it relates to your life, project, or how it is changing your way of thinking.

What new ideas, questions, connections, or insights came up?

Your notes aren’t just for me, but for your group as well.

One slide per article/video/etc.

Upload by the night before the next class.
