HOMEWORK
Group Mural
Duplicate this Mural board for your group. Share your Mural link in your group’s Slack channel.
Digitize some of the ideas we came up with last class and address some of the new prompts this week.
This, and the 10x10x10 (see below), will help us gear up for nailing down our project idea by the end of next class.
10x10x10
When we work, we tend to be anchored to our laptops, living inside of a screen using applications, thinking that our work has to be done here.
When you are creating a new product or service for a certain audience, it's important that you build an understanding of who they are. We tend to live in our own world, inside a bubble that we create, often times without knowing we're inside of it.
But, how do you burst that bubble to allow yourself to start building that understanding? The 10x10x10 exercise is a great first step to get you out of your bubble while at the same time allowing serendipity to inspire ideas by visiting new places and seeing new things.
The stories from your 10x10x10 can be centered around a particular challenge you are trying to address, an issue affecting people in that area, or they can simply be more free flowing, letting the people you meet guide the conversation.
Document this exercise with photos, videos, and/or audio. This is a unique and fun opportunity to see the world around you in a different way.
