HOMEWORK

  • What’s your 2040? Watch video intro

    In however many slides, illustrate;

    - Your journey from school today to where you see yourself in 2040

    - Share personal and professional milestones

    - How and where you applied your skills on your journey

    - End with a zoomed vision of the future that is reached

    - Highlight areas/topics/spaces important to you that have been addressed or resolved

    You will present your slides next class. Make it visual; illustrations, photos, mockups, stop motion, video. Less text, more visuals. Consider this an exercise in creativity.

  • Look into Project Drawdown's Solutions to see what people are doing in addressing the places or interests you have. The documentary 2040 mentions a few of the many new solutions and approaches being invented and being implemented today. Don't focus on just learning about one or two solutions. Take a few minutes to really go through them.

  • SN: Project Drawdown's Units 1–5

  • Once you have completed the above, head to this Mural to share out the following;

    - Your personal interest

    - Share out 3-5 insights that speak to how your personal interest will be impacted by climate change

    - Highlight 2+ solutions spaces that may help with addressing or solving that impact
