Welcome, Boston (and surrounding New England area) Climate Designers

Climate Designers Boston is a vibrant hub for creatives, problem-solvers, and climate-minded locals dedicated to designing a more resilient and sustainable future. Our work sits at the intersection of creativity, community, and climate resilience. We don't just talk about the future; we prototype it. From co-creating the Bostonian Urban Farmers’ Almanac to hosting intensive designathons and volunteering in local urban farms, we bridge the gap between high-level climate strategy and everyday grassroots impact.

Since our inception, we’ve hosted a diverse array of gatherings designed to connect and inspire:

• Co-Creation: Developing the Bostonian Urban Farmers’ Almanac, a playful guide for living intentionally in the city.

• Innovation: Partnering with Bentley University and Interaction Design Foundation Boston for Prototype for the Planet, a 2-day designathon tackling real-world environmental challenges.

• Advocacy: Hosting "Get Out The Vote" sessions and climate policy discussions to ensure creative voices are heard in the halls of power.

• Direct Action: Trading our mouses for shovels during work parties at Eastie Farm and creating public art in the Boston Common.

• Connection: Monthly meetups at local staples like Aeronaut, Lamplighter, and Democracy Brewing to recharge and build our professional networks.
